Mentoring Program

The Institute for Health Equity and Innovation offers mentoring to selected students. Graduate students are preferred; however, undergraduate students are welcome to apply. Students must be interested in multicultural issues and/or health equity. Mentees receive training and personalized career development support. Mentees’ activities include involvement in research projects. Mentees get appropriately credited for their contributions as co-authors or contributors in research projects, publications, and professional presentations.

Please send a cover letter, resume and a writing sample to info@drmariaespinola.com, with the subject line “Mentoring.”

The Institute for Health Equity encourages candidates to apply who are people of color, LGBTQ+, have experience living in rural areas and/or poverty, have a disability and are from nontraditional educational backgrounds.
